After a brief hiatus, I am back. We welcomed one more addition to our family this year, Ethan Hunter. We are crazy in love with him, and cannot get enough of his cuteness and baby snuggles. There is a lot in store for 2020, and I am unleashing a new product in June that I have been working on the past year. More info to come on it, so stay tuned.

When you think of the traditional components that make up a wedding, flowers are one thing that often comes to mind. Flowers accent a wedding and capture the senses with their aromatic beauty. They create an enchanting atmosphere, transforming an ordinary setting into one right out of fairytale. Yet, flowers can also be pricey, and often go to waste after the wedding is over. So, why not try something a little unconventional in place of your flower bouquet?

Here are some of my...

A wedding would not be a wedding without a little family tension. Big affairs that bring multiple personalities together in one room have a tendency to yield some amount of friction.  It is especially common, albeit stressful, to experience amongst family members when planning a wedding.

Once the wedding is over, the tension will more than likely settle. However, when you are busy planning your wedding and trying to manage the tension on the side, it can easily become overwhelming....

Knowing how to properly pin on a boutonniere is of vital importance when it comes to polishing off the look of the groom and groomsmen. Nothing dumbs a look down more than a floppy boutonniere, so you want that boutonniere secure and nicely displayed. Here's how to pin a boutonniere:

1) The boutonniere should be placed on the top of the left lapel (right above the man's heart)

2) Start from the outer back of the lapel and stick the pin through the front

3) Push the pin through the stem of the bout...

Can you believe we are already in March 2018? This year is flying too fast. The past few months since December have been quiet for me. Given the birth of my daughter last year and the complications that came with it, while still staying afloat during a busy wedding season, once December hit I was burned out and needed a break. So I used the past couple months to collect and regroup. As I sip my sweet cup of coffee therapy and enter into beast mode again, I figured it would be nice to explore som...

Introducing a New Addition: This little beauty, Zoey Julianne, arrived this past April. We had some complications with the pregnancy as Zoey came two months earlier than expected, but she is now healthy, happy, and growing strong.

The past few months have been quite a journey and I feel blessed that everything turned out well. Seeing this little girl shine after such a rough start is a true inspiration, and a great reminder of how precious life is. As I always say, 'life should be celebrated...

I have the worst luck with shoe shopping. My feet are flat and narrow, so as a result it is hard to find shoes that are comfortable and fit well, especially for fancy occasions.

When I was shoe shopping for my own wedding five years ago, I ended up settling on a pair of white ballroom dance shoes instead of traditional wedding shoes.

I used to be big into ballroom dancing, and once when I was teaching at Arthur Murray Dance Studio a student came in with the shoes she was going to...
